The Autumn Term play is Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors directed by former student Cecilia Kendall White.  It will be performed in the Lecture Hall 2 - 4 December at 7.30 p.m.  Tickets are £6 (£5 concessions with ID).  Return performers include:  Gareth Bernard, Catherine Clifford, Richard Nunn, Red Smucker and Joe Curdy.

Congratulations to the new Officers for this year:  President José A. Pérez Díez, Secretary Anne Kosseff, and Treasurer Emma Poltrack!

 

The Autumn Term begins on 4th October 2010 and The Players will be meeting in the new term to discuss their first production as well as discuss holding elections for Offices of President, Secretary & Treasurer.

The Summer Term Play explores the sinister and oppressive environment of Macbeth by William Shakespeare.  The production will be directed by alumna Kelley Costigan (Artistic Director of Blood & Thunder Theatre Company), assisted by Nisha Ravindranathan and based on a concept by Producer Yu Umemiya.  Dates: Thursday, 8th - Saturday, 10th July at 8pm in the Lecture Hall of Mason Croft (home of The Shakespeare Institute).  Ticket £6 (£5 concessions).  

 

The Spring Term production was William Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor directed by alumna Cait Fannin Peel, assisted by Emily Oliver.  Dates: Thursday, 18th - Saturday, 20th March at 7:30pm in the Lecture Hall of Mason Croft (home of The Shakespeare Institute).
